ONLINE DONATIONS can be made through the link to our service provider at the top of the page. A 3% service fee will be deducted. All monetary donations receive a receipt for income tax deductions which are automatically mailed or emailed at year-end, unless specified to be sent immediately by our Treasurer.

BE AN ANGEL OF THE FOODBANK     Would you like to give a “foodbank angel” to celebrate a birthday or anniversary,  as a Christmas gift or in memory of someone who passed away?

For a donation of $52.00 or more, purchase a foodbank angel.  Tax receipts will be issued for all “angel” donations by the St. Thomas Elgin Foodbank.  Donors will be emailed a donation card to give to the recipient. You can be an angel of the foodbank by clicking here:    st-thomas-elgin-food-bank/campaign/be-an-angel/

OTHER WAYS YOU CAN HELP:

  1. Donate food & personal hygiene items
  2. Donate money
  3. Encourage your family & friends to make donations instead of buying gifts for special occasions e.g. birthdays, anniversaries.
  4. Organize food drives in your school or place of work and provide incentives for the most items collected.
  5. Support your church during their food drives.
  6. Begin a “frugal family meal” program and donate the money saved on meatless meals, no desserts, smaller portions etc.
  7. Consider us your “favourite” charity when making bereavement donations.
