Our purpose is to serve all who come to us in need and we understand that using the services of a food bank for the first time can sometimes be a difficult experience. Our staff will do their very best to make you feel at home and welcome during your visit. St Thomas Elgin Food Bank is located at 24 John Street, St. Thomas. Individuals and families may use our service every 21 days (unless prior arrangements have been made with management). Clients must reside in areas within Elgin County where there is no other food bank.
Information Required to Register
The following documentation is required for assistance
- One piece of identification for each family member or person residing in the household
- Verification of address – rent receipt or utility receipt
- Source of income if any (such as an Ontario Works, Ontario Disability, EI, Employment, Child Tax Benefit, etc.)
